This fabulous walk is along the beautiful Shorncliffe foreshore. This is always an enjoyable walk, with lovely beaches for the dogs to play on.
We will gather near the front of the Shorncliffe pier at Moora Park. This is a fabulous area for a picnic, swim or for a mass of beagles to congregate.
We will walk west along the foreshore for about 2kms to Arthur Davis Park before returning for supper. There is a small beach where the Beagle can take a dip.
On the return, we will be in twilight and those with their light-up collars will turn them on for a fabulous sight.
The walk is also in partnership with the Hound Club of Queensland, as well as to promote the international day for laboratory testing of animals, to raise awareness of the plight of the thousands of animals still used to laboratory testing.
Please note: This is strictly an on leash walk, with local Council patrols frequenting the beach.
