This is quite a popular walk, which has been moved to a cooler month to take advantage of the lower temperatures and drier weather.

We meet at the Entrance to the Common, just off Sherwood Road. If you are coming from Oxley Road, the entrance in just after you go over Oxley Creek bridge on the right. If coming from Ipswich Road, go past the Rocklea Markets. The entrance is on the left. We will meet just in front of the “Red Shed”. There is a dog off leash park for us to have a play in before and after the walk. We will also have morning tea and drinks.

The walk is about 4.6km, or there is a shorter walk for those who want a leisurely stroll. We go through agricultural areas, with lots of smells for the Beagles to enjoy.
