Lurecoursing Sprints – Saturday 22nd July

This year the Sprint Lure Coursing meet will be held in conjunction with Queensland Lure Coursing Association.

The lure coursing day will be held on Saturday the 22nd July at the Capalaba Greyhound Racing Club, Old Cleveland Road, Capalaba. The morning will commence from 7:00am for registration, with the first of the runs commencing at 8:30am.

This event will be a sprint event, so each beagle will be timed over a distance of 100 metres on the straight greyhound racing track.

The sprints will be held in conjunction with the Capalaba Greyhound Racing Club and the Queensland Lure Coursing Association. There will be other breeds running on the day, so it will be great to see many dogs of different breeds running and enjoying the event.

Entries will be $5.00 per dog. There will be raffles and food available as well.
After the last run (and time permitting), we will have a beagle pack run down the straight, which is always a great spectacle.
