Southbank Parklands
South Bank Parklands, Stanley Street, South Brisbane, Queensland, Australia
Join us for the first twilight walk held at Southbank Parklands in the city.
This date also coincides with the World Day for Laboratory Animals – we will be shining a light for those poor beagles (and other animals) used in cruel and unnecessary product testing across the world. Lets work together to stop animal testing! We will have information available for the public on this issue.
We will meet at 4.30pm for a 5pm start. The assembly point is at the River Quay Green. This is at the Maritime Museum end of Southbank. It is the grassed area at the bank of the river, just in front of the River Quay restaurants.
We will be walking through Southbank, past the Brisbane Wheel and the Cultural Centre to the base of the Go-Between Bridge before returning for supper.
Don’t forget to bring your light up collars so we can light up the city again!!
